Join us in Baton Rouge for this premier epigenetics conference. Visit our vendor table to explore sequencing and bioinformatics solutions for epigenetic inheritance research.
The International Symposium on Epigenetic Inheritance 2026 is the inaugural North American sister meeting to the biennial series founded by Prof. Isabelle Mansuy (ETH Zurich & University of Zurich) in 2017. Chaired by Prof. Alexander Murashov (LSU School of Veterinary Medicine), it brings together 20+ leading researchers from 9 countries.
Core topics include sperm RNA-mediated inheritance, environmental epigenetics, chromatin-based regulatory mechanisms, metabolic programming, and the evolutionary consequences of non-genetic inheritance.
Selected invited speakers from the confirmed program:
+ 16 additional speakers from Australia, France, Germany, Japan, Sweden, and the USA. View full speaker list →
Plenary lecture by Qi Chen on the "sperm RNA code"; sessions on sperm RNA-mediated inheritance (Upasna Sharma), transgenerational memory in mammals (Yuta Takahashi), and paternal epigenetic programming (Sarah Kimmins). Evening: Welcome reception + Tiger Stadium tour.
Drop by our vendor table in the Cain Lobby (just inside the Laborde Courtyard entrance) to discuss your epigenetics research needs. Keynote by Isabelle Mansuy in the morning. Sessions on intergenerational metabolic disease, evolutionary epigenetics (Benjamin Oldroyd), and non-genetic inheritance (Russell Bonduriansky).
Keynote by Eric Miska; sessions on paternal diet effects (Anita Ost), opioid/alcohol intergenerational effects (Chris Pierce, Fair Vassoler, Michael Golding), and Alzheimer's epigenomics (Nicolas Bazan). Two strategic roundtables on the future of the field. Closing banquet with live Zydeco music.
We invite all attendees to stop by during the vendor show — no appointment required.
