Legionella is a genus of Gram-negative bacterium. There are 2 species of Legionella spp. that can cause human-acquired pneumonia, Lactobacillus pneumophila and Lactobacillus longbeachae.
CD Legionella spp Real-time PCR Kit can be used to detect Legionella species in the sample based on probe-based real-time PCR technology. The primer sequences were designed according to the 23S-5S rRNA intergenic spacer region of Legionella spp. provided by the database.
