Non-occluded enteric baculovirus (NOEV) is a novel type of baculovirus that infects shrimp and causes enteritis and mortality. Unlike other baculoviruses, NOEV does not form occlusion bodies or polyhedra in infected cells but remains as budded virus (BV) throughout its life cycle. NOEV was first isolated from diseased Penaeus monodon shrimp in China in 2011 and has been detected in several other shrimp species and countries. NOEV has a circular double-stranded DNA genome of about 134 kbp, encoding 139 putative genes. The kit is based on a PCR reaction to detect Non-occluded enteric baculovirus in the shrimp.

Storage: | The kit is shipped at room temperature (15-25℃) because contains a chemical stabilizer. The kit should be stored immediately upon receipt at -20℃ in a constant-temperature freezer. For routine use should be stored al 4℃. When stored under these conditions and handled co-rrectly, these products can be kept at least until the expiration date without showing any reduction in performance. |
