Iridovirus is a genus of viruses in the family Iridoviridae that infect insects and crustaceans. Iridoviruses have large, icosahedral virions that contain linear double-stranded DNA. They can cause iridescent disease, which is characterized by color changes and tissue damage in infected hosts. The virus poses a significant risk to the shrimp farming industry. The kit is based on a PCR reaction to detect SHIV in the shrimp.
Kit components:
• Irido virus Premixture
• PCR Internal Control (white cap)
• DNase/RNase free water
• Irido virus PCR Positive control
• PCR Negative control
• Mineral Oil Solution
• BrigTM Molecular Weight marker
• DNA Purification
Species: | Iridovirus |
Storage: | The kit is shipped at room temperature (15-25℃) because contains a chemical stabilizer. The kit should be stored immediately upon receipt at -20℃ in a constant-temperature freezer. For routine use should be stored al 4℃. When stored under these conditions and handled correctly, these products can be kept at least until the expiration date without showing any reduction in performance. |
