Klebsiella pneumoniae is a Gram-negative, podocytic, non-motile bacterium found in the environment. K. pneumoniae typically colonizes human mucosal surfaces in the oropharynx and gastrointestinal (GI) tract. Once the bacterium enters the body, it exhibits a high degree of virulence and antibiotic resistance. Klebsiella pneumoniae is considered one of the most common causes of hospital-acquired pneumonia.
CD Klebsiella pneumoniae Real-time PCR Kit can be used to detect Mycobacterium tuberculosis in the sample based on probe-based real-time PCR technology. The primer sequences were designed according to the phoE gene of Klebsiella pneumoniae provided by the database.
