Mourilyan Virus (MoV) is a double-stranded RNA virus that belongs to the family Phenuiviridae and the genus Wenrivirus. It infects penaeid shrimp of the species Penaeus monodon and Penaeus japonicus and causes mortalities and reduced growth. MoV was first discovered in Australia in 2004 and has been detected in several countries in Asia. The kit is based on a PCR reaction to detect MoV in the shrimp.
Kit components:
• MoV RT-PCR Premixture
