Plum poxvirus is a linear single-stranded RNA virus that infects stone fruit trees such as plums, peaches, apricots, nectarines, almonds and cherries. It causes plum pox disease, also known as sharka, which is the most devastating viral disease of stone fruits. It can reduce fruit yield and quality, and produce spots, rings or mottling on fruit, leaves and flowers. This kit is based on real-time reverse transcription PCR to detect Plum poxvirus.
Detection principle: One-Step PCR detection technology.
RNA Kit: Also includes reverse transcriptase, and exogenous RNA incorporated during the cell lysis step.
