Amoebic gill disease (AGD) is a potentially fatal disease of some marine fish, which is caused by Neoparamoeba perurans. It primarily affects farm raised fish of the family Salmonidae, most notably affecting the Tasmanian Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar) industry.
CD Neoparamoeba perurans Real-time PCR Kit can be used to detect Neoparamoeba perurans in the sample based on probe-based real-time PCR technology. The primer sequences were designed according to the target gene provided by the database. For research use only.
Top sensitivity of detecting ≥100 copies for target with a fast and streamlined workflow.
High sensitivity and specificity: >95%.
Content: Specific primers, Internal control, Positive control, Master Mix (2 x).
