Pospiviroid is a genus of viroids that infects mainly tuber and fruit crops such as potato, tomato, pepper, eggplant and avocado. It belongs to the family Pospiviroidae, which are characterized by having a rod-like secondary structure with a central conserved region (CCR) and terminal conserved regions (TCR). Pospiviroids replicate in the nucleus of infected cells and are transmitted by aphids or by grafting or vegetative propagation of infected plant material. This kit is based on real-time reverse transcription PCR to detect Pospiviroid.
Detection principle: One-Step PCR detection technology.
RNA Kit: Also includes reverse transcriptase, and exogenous RNA incorporated during the cell lysis step.
