Hepatitis virus is an envelope-free ssRNA virus. Infection with Hepatitis A Virus (HAV) causes inflammation of the liver and is called hepatitis A. The other two are hepatitis B and hepatitis C. Unlike hepatitis B and C, hepatitis A does not cause chronic disease or damage. Patients infected with hepatitis A can develop antibodies.
CD Hepatitis A Virus Real-time PCR Kit can be used to detect HAV in the sample based on probe-based real-time PCR technology. The primer sequences were designed according to the genome reference sequence provided by the database.
