Product Description

Iridovirus is a genus of viruses that infect insects and crustaceans. It belongs to the family Iridoviridae and has two species: Invertebrate iridescent virus 6 (IIV-6) and Invertebrate iridescent virus 9 (IIV-9). They have large, icosahedral virions that measure 120–200 nm in diameter and contain linear double-stranded DNA genomes of about 200 kb. This kit is based on real-time reverse transcription PCR to detect Iridovirus.
