The CD SARS-CoV-2 Variants Kit is based on real-time RT-PCR technology for the qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 mutants (RdRp, N and E gene and S gene variants [T547K, 69/70del, T478K]). Applicable samples are nasopharyngeal and oropharyngeal swabs from persons suspected of being infected with COVID-19.
Fast Results: Produces test results within 1 hour post extraction.
Real-time PCR: Detection and identification of target genes (RdRP, N, E and S-gene variants) specific for COVID-19 in a single tube.
Sensitivity: Reference material was repeatedly tested through serial dilution to show high analytical sensitivity.
Accessibility: Test results can be easily analyzed with dedicated user-friendly Genetree Viewer software.
