Overview

Product Description

The kit enables fast, easy, and accurate PCR-based identification of fish species in fresh, frozen, dried, pickled, or minced samples.

Features

Key Features & Advantages

Performance indicators:
1. Number of reactions: 100
2. Fragment size: < 1000 nt
3. Physical form: premixed
How it works:
The solution uses advanced software to obtain more accurate results. The solution uses PCR amplification of genomic DNA and restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) analysis to generate fragment patterns that can be resolved and matched to the correct species using RFLP pattern-matching software. Key to this process is the Agilent 2100 Bioanalyser system, which eliminates the need for manual identification.
Product content:
1. DNA Isolation Kit: Includes DNA-binding centrifuge cups and all necessary reagents for rapid isolation of DNA from many types and sizes of seafood samples.
2. PCR-RFLP FISH ID kit: convenient PCR reaction premixes and primers to amplify target fish species; restriction endonucleases and buffers to perform rapid RFLP analysis.
3. DNA 1000 kit: accurate and reproducible automated measurement and quantification of fish sample PCR fragments and restriction products using standardized analysis and pre-packaged reagents sufficient for 300 DNA molecular weight determinations.
