Brucella is a type of bacteria that can cause brucellosis, a disease that affects both animals and humans. The bacterium is primarily transmitted to humans through direct contact with infected animals or consumption of contaminated animal products such as unpasteurized milk, cheese or meat. Symptoms of brucellosis in humans can include fever, chills, sweats, fatigue, joint pain, and headache. While rare in developed countries, brucellosis remains a significant public health concern in many parts of the world, particularly in areas where there is close contact between humans and livestock. The kit is based on real-time PCR technology to detect Brucella.
Advantage:
.Fast: Time saving of up to 3 days in comparison to conventional microbiology
.Easy: Convenient handling
.Safe: Prevention of carry-over contamination by using Uracil-NGlycosylase
.Licensed: Fully licensed technology
.Experienced: Long-time experience as custom service lab and life science product manufacturer
.Efficient: ~103 cells/ml of enrichment cultures (sensitivity value may vary slightly depending on sample type)
.Comprehensive: Packages of Sample
.Preparation & Detection Kits, real-time
.PCR instruments & diagnostic software
