Product Description

Coconut Cadang-Cadang Viroid is a small particle of genetic material that infects coconut palms and causes cadang-cadang disease. It can cause lethal damage to affected plants, and produce spots on the leaves, reduced tops, yellow palms, and death. It can also be confused with another viroid called Coconut Tinangaja Viroid which has similar symptoms. It is transmitted by grafting, seeds, pollen, or contaminated tools. This kit is based on real-time reverse transcription PCR to detect coconut cadang-cadang viroid.
