Midgut Gland Necrosis (BMN) is a disease that affects penaeid shrimp and causes white turbidity of the hepatopancreas. It is caused by a nonoccluded gut-infesting baculovirus called Baculovirus midgut gland necrosis virus (BMNV) or Penaeus japonicus nonoccluded baculovirus (PJNOB). BMN is mainly a problem in hatcheries, where it infects larvae and early postlarvae and causes high mortality. This kit is based on real-time reverse transcription PCR to detect midgut gland necrosis (BMN).
Kit components:
1. Universal qPCR Master Mix
2. Primer, Probes and Internal Control Mix
3. One qRTPCR Enzyme Mix
4. BMN Positive Control
5. BMN Negative Control
6. PCR grade Water
7. Exogenous RNA control
8. Exogenous RNA control Primer and Probes Mix
