Hepatitis B virus (HBV) is a viral pathogen that primarily affects the liver, leading to acute and chronic liver disease. HBV is transmitted through contact with infected blood or bodily fluids and can lead to liver cirrhosis and cancer. Vaccines against HBV have been developed and are effective in preventing infection. The kit is based on a DNA amplification reaction to qualitatively analyze HBV DNA in samples.
Kit contents:
• HBV mix: The mix includes all amplification reagents for the detection of HBV DNA except MgCl2 and DNA polymerase
• MgCl2
• DNA Polymerase
• Positive Control: Consisting of non-infective sequence of HBV flanked by the specific primers
Species: | Hepatitis B Virus |
Sample Type: | Blood, serum, plasma, PBMCs, hepatic tissues |
Method: | DNA amplification reaction |
ShippingCondition: | Dry ice |
