Human Mycobacterium tuberculosis is a highly infectious bacterial pathogen that causes tuberculosis (TB), a serious respiratory disease affecting millions worldwide. TB can be latent or active, with symptoms including coughing, fever, and weight loss. The study of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and its interaction with the human immune system is an important area of research in microbiology and immunology. The kit detects human Mycobacterium tuberculosis qualitatively in samples (blood, lung tissue, and sputum) by DNA amplification.
Kit contents:
• Amplification mix: The mix includes all the amplification reagents for the detection of M. tuberculosis, except MgCl2 and DNA polymerase
• Nested mix: The mix includes all amplification reagents for the detection of M. tuberculosis, except MgCl2 and • DNA polymerase
• MgCl2
• DNA Polymerase
• Positive control: Non-infective DNA sequence containing a generic sequence from M. tuberculosis flanked by primers
