Regulatory Network of Transcription Factors

SPEAK TO A SCIENTIST

Introduction

Transcription Factors (TFs) are proteins that can bind DNA in a sequence-specific manner and regulate transcription. Transcription factors control chromatin and transcription by recognizing specific DNA sequences to form a complex system that directs genome expression. The regulation of transcription level is an important part of gene regulation. Transcription Factor (TF) and Transcription Factor Binding Site (TFBS) are important components of transcription regulation. The gene transcription regulatory network has become one of the hotspots of biological research because it can visually display the regulatory relationship of gene expression. In recent years, with the development of high-throughput sequencing technology, a large number of high-throughput experimental data used to identify transcription factors and their binding sites have been generated. In order to systematically collect, organize and analyze these data, many related transcription factor databases have been produced. Transcription factors account for about 8% of all human genes and are associated with a variety of diseases and phenotypes. Therefore, the analysis of the transcription factor regulatory network will provide necessary data reference for related research on gene regulation, tissue differentiation, and disease occurrence.

Application Fields

With the gradual maturity of bioinformatics analysis methods and technologies, transcription factors research is wildly used in the biomedical research.

  • Basic research: Gene transcription regulatory network analysis.
  • Disease research: Such as research on the occurrence and development of diseases, tissue differentiation, etc.

What We Offer

As one of the providers of transcription factor regulatory network analysis, CD Genomics uses cutting-edge bioinformatics analysis technology and software (such as Genomatix, Gene2Promoter, MatInspector, and Cytoscape, etc.) to analyze the interaction network of transcription factors and differential expressed genes and other factors such as miRNA and lncRNA. The raw input data can be downloaded from public databases or produced from a range of sequencing platforms. In addition, we are able to receive various formats of data for analysis such as raw FastQ/Fasta files, or aligned BAM/SAM files and other intermediate data formats. We provide our clients with the following data analysis services:

  • Professional data analysts evaluate and filter the data, formulate the optimal analysis plan, and perform data analysis.
  • According to the analysis needs of customers, develop a personalized analysis plan or personalized charts to summarize results.
  • Provide a complete interactive data analysis report, including all analysis methods and results.
  • Post-report follow-ups: We provide professional analysis report interpretation service and biological interpretation of analysis results.
  • Fast turnaround time: We help you achieve your research goals quickly and in a timely manner.
