Oxford Nanopore MinION/PromethIon

Oxford Nanopore sequencing is a unique and scalable technology. No amplification of the sample is required, avoiding errors that can be introduced in library construction and amplification by next-generation sequencing. Long DNA or RNA fragments (up to 150 kb read length) can be analyzed directly. It works by monitoring changes in current as nucleic acids pass through protein nanopores. The resulting signal is decoded to provide specific DNA or RNA sequences. Thus, not only can the data be analyzed in real time, but also base modifications of the nucleic acid sequence can be identified at the same time.

Nanopore sequencing platforms are now widely used to study complex plant and animal genomes, microbial genomes, full-length transcriptomes, microbial population studies and human genome variation detection.

Different Nanopore Sequencing Devices

We have equipped several models of nanopore sequencers, including MinION, PromethIon and other platforms. Taking advantage of read-length and real-time analysis, we offer a wide range of sequencing and analysis services.
